There are a number of competent tax professionals commenting on the forums here who work with clients in other states.

As time has gone by, competition has gotten stiffer, the quality of the listings has gotten much higher, hosts have become more professional.

BP is also a great place to connect with local professionals and build your team!

There could by 50+ questions (w/ background item etc) that do not need asking of the professional grade GP as they have already provided the due-diligence material for the LP perusal up front.

Why I would suggest you do it: Hiring a tax professional short cuts many people in building wealth as they often learn strategies from these folks that turn up the heat on their investing strategies.

I would look for a different loan company, and then deliberately seek to establish relationship with a "goal getter" loan officer in that company, be very clear about what you want and don't settle for an under performing officer.
