Same way, say, the very large banks manage X number of bank branches-- that is, they do it poorly but have so much scale it makes little difference to their bottom line.

If you can build trust and show a track record you should be able to scale.  

As you continue to scale continually search for the bottleneck of your operation and either outsource or hire more to sustain more work.

I see people take 10k on a 100k property but if you were to scale that to 4.25 million that is $425,000 which seems egregious.

While you can scale with any type of investment strategy, certain asset classes make it easier than others to grow quickly.

Just keep pushing through so when you do scale, you know exactly whats expected 

Even new appliances can have issues relatively quickly, however a warranty (usually at least 12 months from manufacturer) can help.

From that data, you can manually text, call, email and even send mail until you acquire your first deal which allows you to then do this at scale and outsource accordingly.I typically see investors text first, followed by a call then mail.
