Don’t register but simply call a broker with one of those firms who specializes in the product type you’re looking for and set up a brief meeting.

If I don't have the right product, I'll send it to the person that does - while reminding them of what I've got that they don't.

What they cannot do is have 2 additional dogs show up at some point in the future without properly filing notice to the landlord.

It's beneficial to get something closer to the west side of Lafayette because it'll attract graduate students from Purdue (just be sure to do proper due diligence with screening).

In most places you need to honor the current lease, however when the lease is up (at least with a normal tenant I'm not 100% if it is the same with Section 8) you can give proper notice that you will not be renewing the lease.

Just to offer you an opposing opinion - driving down the principle and refinancing is putting a lot of your hard earned cash, that could be used for productive assets, into a bad asset.
