I recently read a landlord law book which stressed, although landlord should stay out of domestic/roommates disputes, that if a tenant's life or health was in serious danger from violent/spouse or roommate, landlord might be liable if they do nothing.

They don't DO anything productive, have NICER stuff than I do because they rented it from a furniture store and never planned on paying for it and there isnt a thing that can be done about that & they get welfare money, food stamps, health benefits and a roof over their heads....get ready for it folks because that is what SOME of this stimulus is paying for!

Franklin,I have to say everything I have read on this thread scares the hell out of me.

I assume they don’t give a darn due to the fact that they owe more than the property is worth so a lien doesn’t scare them.

I've been smelling it almost ever since, and it's affecting my health.

Everyone is scared in the beginning to some extent.

Add to that the promise of universal health care and the restoration of the welfare state (already passed in the stimulus plan) and we've got a catastrophe of epic proportions on the way.Keep digging and stock up on food!
