You have the right idea how far in michigan are you looking to invest(location wise)? 

im in a hot location that is pretty much zero vacancy. 

Or, you could just buy a SFR and live in it for a year, or however long and once you get new orders or whatever you can purchase a new one upon arriving at your new location, while keeping your old one so long as they don't exceed 450k.

(This one was something that came up wrong if you searched the address, so I used the map to zoom out and find the two main streets (though this version is for something else so it's more zoomed in) and located the house using this map.)

Unless you are buying 10 doors at 80k to 100k a door or more for strong class B location and construction then you can open yourself up to lots of trouble buying from afar.10 units is not scale able from afar.

We are in the process of doing our due diligence to ensure the land is in a desirable location.
