Stumbling upon Bigger Pockets has been teaching so much about the ins and outs of the real estate business and I'm looking forward to connecting with others who share a similar passion of mine.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how I can force or convince the muni to complete that portion of their road plan, or would I just be stuck in a waiting game until they move forward with it?

Ive been reading books, going to seminars, listening to the bigger pockets podcasts and webinars and it all has helped me so much, but I feel like something is missing.

I have redone the master bath by putting in a pocket door, subway tile shower, new floor, can light, cabinet, everything really.  

Its a big numbers game.

Which brings me to a big reason why I found bigger pockets.

I'm Luke, a 24 year old carpenter and college graduate looking to get into the real estate game.

Bucking trends is often best left to deep pockets and politicians. 

Altogether I came out of pocket about $5,200 in aquisition.At the time I couldn't go see the property in person but took a chance knowing the lot alone was worth over $9,000.Once i finally went to see the property it had been vacant for about 2 years.
