I have a friend who had a similar issue with a neighbor and after about 3-4 months the City dropped the request and closed out the investigation as having no evidence for the claims. 

The other option is you can investigate if it has any type of value added to the property.

I mean really they going to spend thousands investigation and litigating someone who bought a darn Tesla when they said they would not.Just think about all the real fraud out there. 

Since they may can't buy property due to various reason, but since they also have kids and doesn't want to move, they're stuck with your house.So what to do :1. start investigating in which school district is the best.2. do market research in that area, it take 5 minutes only3. start circling the block with highest potential growth/appreciation.

-investigating MF 5-10 units are much more difficult, things like HVAC,tenant quality all needs to be examined well.

Airbnb contacted me about the bed bugs and after there “ investigation “ with the pictures I provided and the exterminator having to come out to spray they still held to it wasn’t within the first 72 hours of check in I told them to go ahead and cancel the Airbnb reservation because I won’t be going back there to which the agreed to doAfter refusing to refund any of our money, Airbnb kicked the problem up two levels and told us that we could get 10 days refund, as it would take the host 10 days to get the property resented.
