Go to local real estate meetups to meet other young professionals who are looking to invest or who already invest.

I know you suggested that I should attend meet up.

If I'm in your shoes I would checkout any local RE meetups happening nearby, that would be a great spot to meet some other folks in your shoes and/or other lenders who might be able to give their perspective if it makes sense to pull out money from your home rn or not. 

Central Florida Realty Investors a local real estate investors group, has a Brevard chapter you may want to consider joining.

My thoughts are those types of properties are better for local investors who can check on the properties, know how to do some of their own repairs or are very experienced investors who know what they're doing. 

Strongly recommend checking him out on IG or FB where he posts meeting dates etc.

One thing I'm struggling with however is my ability to really understand the local markets in some of the areas I've been targeting.Among a couple areas, I think Watsessing Ave in Bloomfield has great transit, appropriately priced properties (cash flow opportunities), and there seems to be some serious development happening (new supermarket and luxury apts just finishing a short walk east of the Watsessing Ave station).I've driven many of the streets and seen a few properties in the area to get a feel.  

@Tatum Kantor- Investing OOS has been a lot easier on my schedule than trying to do something local.
