Municipalities must follow state law too, I've found to get the finance department moving, instead of calling them I call the city attorney and tell them they are holding up my sale, that usually means he will call to get things done IAW state law time lines for the release of liens. :)

I think all the new laws need to be tried and tested to make sure all the big boys are following the rules.
