The ratios of rent to price will not let you go out and simply buy and hold in good areas like others on the site who live in other parts of the country get to do.

The amount of work to list and sell a house in one of the hottest real estate markets in the country was pretty low.That said, there is a TON of work involved in selling a home - and having clients that were friends didn't really make it easier.Discounting by .5% doesn't seem like you're giving a huge discount - $2,500 on a $500,000 price.

The best way to move forward in our part of the country, in my opinion , is to be creative at finding deals.

We have some of the highest property insurance costs in the country.

I'm about to move back to the U.S. from abroad, and I have an online business so I can settle anywhere in the country.

I know that Indy is a hot place to invest because most of my investors are out of state or out of the country.
