We can’t do that in too many places here in CO anymore because STR’s are now illegal lots of places but medium term (30+ days) furnished properties rent for a big premium over traditional long term, so I’ve done that on my last two projects.

If I were to get pre-approved for a loan, I understand that I would need to show proof of employment and I was wondering if the best option to fulfill this requirement would be to have someone co-sign the loan.

The current law in Colorado is such that landlords or property management companies are required to accept Section 8 tenants if the applicants are otherwise approvable.
