One thing I have read and heard here at bigger pockets is the power of networking in your local area.

I am based in Downtown Jersey City and I am interested in learning and networking in this area.

You have already gotten some great responses but one thing that hasn’t been asked is since you got your license and I assume want to work in real estate in CA, why would you not start networking there and scouring the MLS for good leads?  

Putting together my team/network i.e., great GC’s, subs, a motivated Realtor, inspector, interior designer and the whole nine.

I am currently looking to network with real estate agents, who can assist my investors with exit strategies for their investment properties.

Just be sure to build a solid Core Four network out there.
