Don't let the "Dr." salutation fool you, her "doctorate" is an Ed.D. in education leadership, not a PhD or a medical degree.These so-called "doctors" seem pretty adept at ignoring common sense and hard data. 

Fortunately there are 2 colleges and a hospital within 3 miles of the property so if I can't get young medical professionals in with me I will move to college kids.

It will basically only have dwelling coverage, liability and medical expense.

I'm looking to purchase a home near the Anschutz medical campus and convert the basement to it's own 2 bed 1 bath unit with a separate entrance.

We are wanting to help one of our kids get into their first house but they have a couple of road blocks, no credit to speak of so far and all of their savings for a down payment was taken up by some hefty medical bills.We are thinking of finding a house, buying it, and then renting it out to them for a year or 2 and then applying what they've paid in rent as their down payment so we can offer them seller financing.

Maybe you mean office, or retail, or industrial, or hotel, or medical...The moral being: if this is a space you want to get into and build a career out of, then getting in now is always the best option.
