Freedom....money.

Owning stuff and responsibilities is the past - people need less space and more time, amenities and travel freedom.

So I would be investing in real estate part time until I am able to have financial freedom. 

You can't have financial freedom from the 9 to 5 day job if you have to stay in order to provide health insurance for yourself and family.

My leverage: knowledge and dedication to the study of real estate/the passion to reach financial freedom, stable job and incomeMy disadvantage: Subprime credit score, no access to conventional loan.His leverage: Access to VA loan, income from benefits, 730+ credit score, future EMT related job.His disadvantage: Unemployed, not versed in basic real estate practice and principle.

I'm passionate, dedicated, and overall just ecstatic to be taking a step in the direction of financial freedom.

Thanks Tim, My private investor is a close family friend that would more than likely allow me a great deal of freedom when establishing our lending agreement/partnership.  

We've narrowed down what investment type we think best suits our goals and found a market that fits our needs (looking to invest in SFR in the 120K-150K range A/B+ neighborhoods with rents 1% or greater the purchase price and build up a portfolio of about 15 properties to reach financial freedom). 

I know he's not perfect and will make mistakes yet that's a part of our freedom happy Veterans Day.

For that I need time and the freedom from being wealthy.
