Not usually the most interesting topics (basic theories, title, benefits, documents, valuation and financing, to name a few), however you'll need to understand these before the other aspects will click.Be forewarned that well over 90% of the people who start and intend to get into real estate never do their first deal deal! 

So from the mapping aspect you have something of value in that you wouldn't need to do that process to separate the lots off.

The other aspect I would look at is how much value add is there in the property.
