I'm looking for a local structural engineer to see if we have a problem with an large porch.  

After their "inspection" we called another engineer (we never worked with before) and had him look and he said the same thing.

My goal is to generate enough passive income that I'm no longer depending on my engineering paycheck to support me and my family.I understand that I have a lot to learn and I plan to soak up as much knowledge as I can.

We find the best properties are held by guys that are electricians, plumbers, engineers, etc. because they take care of these properties above and beyond what the landlords in the area do, driving down repair and capex expenses.

While doing some service one day, I took pics of cigarette burns in the carpet and ashtrays hidden away full of cig butts.

I keep telling myself "burn the boats and take the island" but just cant walk away from the money LoL.
