They will have to pay 20% + in interest... i cant see how that is beneficial to them - or you if they drown in that debt. 

You can come back from this, do what’s best for you given your current situation...if it’s bankruptcy, so be it, if it’s paying your debts and not going that route, that’s your choice too.
