Since I've been uning this for the past couple of years I have never put up a sign or ad or anything.

I just feel like I can't find any good deals in my area, the numbers just haven't been adding up.

I would have negative cashflow of around $900/month on the house (SFRs don't cashflow here), and added holding costs/time mean my cash on cash returns would suffer, but I'd still meet my threshold... unless of course the market tanks by then.

You may want to run some test ads.

Was just curious how you guys thought they compared and whether the extra returns of remote REI were worth it.

So even using "other people's money" is seldom as "free" as radio ads would like you to think.  

I would phone them, not just read the ad because it offers WAY more than it sounds like.

@Joel Katzen    I experienced the same at another crowdfunding site (I dare not mention the name - I've seen the recriminations and accusations that recklessly fly here when suspicious minds over-ruminate.)They sent me a reduced balloon payment which, when added with the interest i'd already received, totaled exactly the amount i'd originally invested.
