@Philip Briskin I am curious is that best practice that the funds need to be in a separate account or is it required by law?

Would you say this is fair or a normal practice?

Advice like cash for keys is laughable and hasn't been practiced effectively in NJ for years because the renters know that the state is very tenant-friendly and will request 15-30k for cash for keys when it used to be like 2-4k.

So needless to say I have been reading up on what they want and will be calling them tomorrow to get a better pulse on how they run things and best practices.

I am a senior in college and just accepted a job that will require me to relocate to Dallas, TX next summer.
