Passing off a lease for compensation north of the 48th may not be an issue, have no idea, but south there are certainly as a business model as in the States, we have real estate license requirements to deal in leases of properties you're not in title to.

I have investors flush with cash and crews ready to move on Rehabs to flip but if there is no one to sell to because of the downturn and job loss should I just head back North and not waste my time for now.

If you want to come more east there are lots of options near Boston as well as North and South of the city.
