Hello,

My name is Karen. A little nervous since I'm so new to the real estate world. I had a friend who began educating me about mortgage notes and we were so determined to be partners and invest in this strategy together. We began to raise a small capital as we prepared to hunt for our first deal. Well it ended up not working out after all.

However, I was still fascinated by the things she taught me and still have an eager desire to pursue learning more on my own about this whole way of working. Thing is she was my teacher and now I have none. I've been fishing through you tube videos, blogs, articles, and audio books, you name it. This is how I came across Bigger Pockets. I found this site through a YouTube video.

You see I work a regular Monday through Friday 9-5 making very little money and now is the time for me to make moves. I'd really like to meet with other investors in my area who are willing to motivate, teach, and guide new people into their first few deals. I don't know if that's much too ask, but I joined in hopes to get some guidance. I'm still trying to raise some money with my regular boring nine to five.

My goal is to gain experience and build into a full time business venture for myself and family. I'd like to create passive income and cash flow through several deals and repeat strategies over and over enough to fund my retirement.

Is that too much to ask?

Looking forward to seeing what Bigger Pockets has to offer.

Thank you so much for your time.
