For larger bridge loans and development deals they are solid Originally posted by @Jay Hinrichs: Tarik I dont think she said she was refinancing i think she said she is looking to finance so probably an purchase money loan My main point was that these scale of loans the borrower needs to look within and be realistic if they can truly qualify.I am not sure if this company will take the 10k when cursory information reveals a high chance of loan being rejected..and if borrowers are qualified for this type of financing they usually have a pretty good grasp on whats needed.

Grand Rapids is definitely a good market for multifamily investment as it has also seen rent growth unlike other parts of the country for multifamily.It is also a more affordable place to invest compared to other parts of the country and Grand Rapids is generally landlord friendly.A quality property manager is essential for an out-of-State investor and there are some good ones locally.To Your Success!

Hi folks,My wife and I have a construction to permanent mortgage loan on land+home where we intended to build.Unfortunately, we found out that unexpected foundation work due to soft soil would likely make the project use triple our contingency reserve before even breaking ground.We are exploring our options on how to transfer our current financial obligations for this construction loan to some other loan offering (as moving forward with the project is now too financially risky).
