Yes, all the areas mentioned previously are good, but you can spend $3k-$100k on a kitchen for example ... just want to make sure you don't put the $100k kitchen in a neighborhood of $3k kitchens, or visa versa :) Selecting the correct level and type of finishes is every bit as important to your bottom line as is which areas of the house you focus on.
