Just been trying to get clarity regarding these matters elsewhere on the forums, but seem to have hit a dead-end.

If I didn't take that day or two off then I would hit the wall regularly, but by scheduling it in I can make sure I do light house keeping or scheduled outings with the kids while resting and then things don't just hit to a dead stop (when they collide with that wall) and I have to start back up once I'm recovered. 

Another reason for not paying off properties (regardless of loan term) is that equity accumulating in the property is "dead" - it does not earn a return (though it can be a nice hedge against inflation).
