Hello BP,My brother and I just purchased a duplex in New Orleans and need to connect with a good GC there to get our upgrades under way in the next two weeks or so. 

The offer was if they take it for the first of the month I would let it be their call to replace the floor or upgrade the bathroom.

I think 2 things are true at once; he did a horrible job and doesn't deserve the full $8k, and nothing in the contract was really broken.

Invested additional approx $25K over the hold period in replacing HVAC unit, hot water heater, refrigerator, installing LVP throughout and upgrading some of the furniture and decor in the home.
