Many people are more concerned with the neighborhood than the features of the property.If I were renting, I would rather have an ok house in a nice area with good schools than a really nice house in a neighborhood where I was worried about my cars or kids bikes being stolen.I don't know what your neighborhood is like, but many people live from check to check.

In my opinion you have to stop thinking about how to make money and focus on saving money if you have no cash.From my expierence, you can read all the real estate seminars and workshops you want but if you don't have a plan and some liquid reserves you are not going to last in the real estate world.
