I’ve learned to start the permitting process early and keep a close eye on inspection timelines to avoid bottlenecks.It can be difficult to find contractors who are not only skilled but also reliable and available when you need them.

it might help to be able to point to your real estate agent as the unreasonable person who won't let close without resolving the issue.

The other markets might be as well, but what I know about my market is we saw 2% appreciation throughout our mls last year despite the national news of real estate being in a decline… we are so insulated from the “bubble” conversation.

In July, the U.S. commercial real estate market experienced mixed results, with property price gains slowing, particularly among individual investors.

My real estate agent, who has a long prior career history in construction, seems to be happy with both the properties and has inspected them in detail and also been under the crawl space noting new plumbing, electrical and foundation sister-in-law beams too.As mentioned it is looking very likely the current buyer will not meet the closing deadline at which point I am next in line and have got price agreed with the back up after a few phone calls today. 

You might want to check out a local real estate office and see if they need someone to do door hangers.
