Or like around here the mobile home transport companies are small privately owned businesses, a call to them would tell you very quickly where they are offloading the used ones on their back hauls.

I've toyed with the idea of paying him his "rent to property owner" check that I send the other companies but then would still need to pay insurance and repairs, etc., for his properties.

That wouldn't include hauling off the old frames.
