In addition to weeds growing in between, pavers will heave with the frost and create a trip hazard over time - even if the ground beneath is properly prepared.If you pour the concrete correctly and use expansion joints properly, you will not have any issues with cracking.Concrete all the way.

I made a trip from out of state down to Raleigh a few months ago, stayed for around 9 days to familiarize myself with the city and to look at some properties, by the time I left, almost all the properties I saw were gone, lol.
