I'm preapproved for up to the selling price but, by any valuation metric, it is unrealistically high.Anyway, there is hostility between me and the seller and if he discovered I am the buyer, he would refuse to sell to me simply out of spite.

I'm eager but not that willing to do the work myself anymore as it's not a good use of my time.Here's what I have done successfully: when I discover a property with the right amount if equity and triggers such as compounded problems (deceased owner, no probate, in foreclosure AND vacant) I decide if there's at least $100K potential profit.

Well we had a storm today and I came by after to check and quickly discovered water had leaked inside the back exterior wall running down to the first floor where there is a lot of water in the kitchen and bathroom and bedroom.

My wife and I live in a co-op we've owned for 10 years now in Brooklyn, NY.We recently discovered that our maintenance bill is almost the same as bigger apartments in our building.We live in a large studio and pay about $1130 a month.
