I don't have much experience, but I do plan on getting my realtors license late May and building my network.

And this is developed over time by networking and growing your circles of influence.  

Commercial brokers such as myself have a network of buyers lined up ready to pounce when smart sellers put the feelers out. 

Your network is your net worth for sure! 

He's lined up to be a speaker at one of our upcoming RareBird Investor Network meetings as well (I think July) so you can come see his accounting chops in person if you would like. 

I own a unit in a high rise building in New Brunswick NJ that I typically rent out to college students via my own network.

There are amazing benefits to it however: learning lead generation/marketing/brand awareness, networking, learning your market better, creative finance...on and on...Take the time to interview someone locally and keep an open mind.

My mistakes costs me alot of money...I am not expert but thanks to BP networks and listening to a lot of podcasts, I am much better prepared now.Best of luck with VA loans.
