Too many people in this business like to play the victim -- FNMA makes it too hard to make money, FHA makes it too hard to make money, the government makes it too hard to make money, local regulation makes it too hard to make money.

There are also new federal regulations concerning "helping" someone in foreclosure and delaying any process, which an installment sale could be viewed as doing, it's also a due on sale issue.
