I’m starting a new career path in financial services to become a financial counselor.So far my family is looking at options of either purchasing out of state WA deals, buying in-state Orange County flips, or expensive duplexes right here in San Diego.I am excited to see who I meet with and who I will be working with.

I recently moved out of Orange County back to Denver but looking to get my California fix in Palm Springs area.

From 4 years ago , the second on the list is Orange County 

I asked my local lumber yard sales rep about it when I saw the unit prices on a lumber package I bought from him were 1.5x and he explained that the orange and blue boxes actually sell these items at a loss to get contractors in the door, then make all their money on fasteners, tools, etc.

Well, I know plenty out there, my market consideration is near SeaTac airport, orange California near outlet mall, Makewao Maui, Kihei, Lahiana, Maui. 

Currently doing 10-15 flips at the same time in Broward, Palm Beach, Dade and Orange County in FL.

I brought my first home in Orange County in 2005 for 526K and lived it in until 2009.  

I definitely see more potential cash flowing properties in those areas vs Orange County.

It's even harder for a contractor to compete than a realtor because of the apples to oranges dynamic.
