(for those not in the know, see http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/speculation... for details) Seems that actual details are light and not even solidified yet, however it sure is causing a lot of panic locally, especially for those that own properties to live in on a part-time basis.

Smoking on premises (in the lease)Under each of these I gave the observes issue in detail and why it is a breach of the lease.I also have another section that tells them how they can rectify each issue, with a time frame.

I can share the 'details' but  I am concerned because he won't answer my questions directly, he answers with a question... a power play?

My recommendation is to speak with a loan officer that understands both products in detail - not many loan officers will be fluent in both of these products so get recommendations and read reviews.  

I will provide detailed numbers below, but suffice it to say that this property barely breaks even after expenses and has proven to be a worthless use of the significant equity I hold in the property.
