I just got my real estate license in March and I joined Keller Williams Realty because they had in house license training.

Bought our first owner occupied duplex in East Austin in March 2014.  

They said that March taxes were not paid and therefore a tax lien was placed on the property.

I started investing with them in march of 2015 and have earned 10% return on my money.

Have you had any experience with VRBO or Air B and B on any of your properties at all?

My roommate was Mike D. for a while, I think you guys played in a band.  

The latest deal we've done is we bought a home in January from auction.com for 31k (after winning the bids for a couple months they finally sold it to me), put 80k in complete remodel & addition (went from 2/1 to 3/2 with everything new & replaced hoping for minimal repairs for at least 5 years) , moved a tenant in March 1, went to refinance (BRRR method) & it appraised for $152k... not bad (means I would only be 5k cash all in after refinance).  

Thanks for sharing @Devan Mcclish My recommendation on the rehab would be to go for option B and do the full rehab.

My wife and I also just moved down this past March.
