I was wondering if anyone here has done the DIY route of real estate investing and what courses have you taken that was actually legitimate.  

I do not want to go the DIY route but would like to have a professional plumber do the same and document it .

Potential for DIY is there. 

Maybe I’m taking too much of a DIY approach when I should just go for it?

Further, far future expansion will be far easier if we plan and invest for it now and execute the plan when needs arise.Given that we have both long been involved in various DIY communities, and that so many brokers don't just walk but run away from both non-profits as well as individuals with lower end budgets, we've decided to do almost everything ourselves.

Again, it's not DIY because there can be some risk especially when balancing membership interests. 

So for now I DIY my PM work.
