I was going to visit some old battles at JBLM in the next few weeks. 

At this point it doesn't seem to make sense to trying an get funded before the specified closing date in a few weeks, so we are looking to not move forward with the purchase.We are being told we can terminate our offer at any time we want, and get our earnest money back due to "not receiving proceeds from sale" or "not qualifying for funding"The way we are reading it is that we need to let the contract automatically terminate on the date specified in the contingency form, and potentially keep trying to sell our house, to get the earnest money back and not be in breach of contract.We want to be sure not to lose our earnest, and do everything according to the contract.Thank you so much!

I actually just signed the lease last week and rented it out.

I’ve done a good amount of research for a week straight, wanted to know if anyone can point me in the right direction of how to successfully start this journey.

You may need to come up with a plan to send the message again to homes that have not replied about 2 or 4 weeks later and then keep that up until you have hit the home 6 times and then drop it off.

I've listened to tons of BP podcasts in the last few weeks, probably 40+ hours while I walk my dog each day :) And I've pored over the Beginner's Guide as well as several books in @Brandon Turner's recommended list - "Long Distance Real Estate Investing" by @David Greene is probably my favorite.

My wife @Kristan Avila and business partner gave me a solid kick in the butt several weeks ago as we hadn't done a deal in a long time.

I will do this now and over the next few weeks!

I pay my rent early, every month to my “landlord” (it’s an institutional level landlord), sometimes 2 weeks early.
