We haven't done business together as of yet, I do know your pain, ( As I have dealt with plenty of them myself), but to dismiss all of us would be a mistake. 

Either way i figured getting at least my first real investment other then my personal home going and start going thru some of the growing pains was the right direction.

Hey @Akash Y.Actually I didn't - I talked to a bunch of people and it seemed like remote management of short-term rentals could be a pain.

What I mean is if you physically write a check or hand cash, you feel the pain of losing the money every month.

I am a little reluctant to change the tax election of A LLC due to my attorney's advice and it just being a pain.

You need sellers that are motivated by a pain point or time deadline.   

There absolutely could be more layoffs but I think it is likely that most of the pain is in the past.  

In your situation I can feel your pain, if you don't do whats required the city will make you tear it down and start over which is a huge financial burden, is it possible for him to repair his mistake?

They may be a little miffed that it wasn't THEIR choice.In others, they can be a real pain- dragging things out, complaining more frequently, making the unit difficult to show to other prospective tenants, etc.
