My attorney now suggested the same structure if I want to do a partnership in the future set it up under it's own LLC and essentially have that owned by a parent LLC.

It appears this is also not in line with GoFundMe's rules, so we have reported it to them, if it is found in violation of the rules they will lose the money and it will be returned to the donors.The irony here is I commend them for launching a GoFundMe page and we probably would have even donated to help them if they had chosen a truthful story.Some people just dont use their heads.
