I think the biggest issue you're going to run into comes down to time differences and difficulty traveling to the property.

(You may also want to search google with the keyword BiggerPockets, the results algorithm on Google is better than the one here on the BP website...if that's their biggest flaw though then they're doing something very right in my opinion :-) ) If you can't find the answer to your specific question in the blog / forums than by all means post up your question for feedback. 

What I mean here is that the biggest challenge that investors have is "cash out of pocket". 

Cash is not the biggest hurdle to get into multifamily.

Especially in a business like real estate where so many are trying to get the biggest piece of pie they can with little regard for the others (not always the case of course).
