I built and own a cabin in Colorado and have owned/ built 7 homes in my life including a rental property in Western Colorado.  

The original Playboy Mansion was recently converted to condos on Dearborn Street, which is near where the Astor property was located.Mark Mark, yes, we have (2) still existing, one owned by Case Western Reserve University and the other by Cleveland State University (recently modernized mechanicals and restored much of the original carpentry).

Say a new investor is starting out and he can relocate himself to anywhere in the western states that he wanted ( Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, eastern Washington, mainly for outdoor interests).

Charleston is world class.. people literally from all over the world.Portlandia gets a lot of out of area buyers as well. refugee's from LA and SF... and a lot of mid western folks looking for better weather.

For you veterans in the western Pennsylvania area, let me ask you, any good recommendations for an investor minded realtor?

And then after a week or so go ahead and blast the offer out to your full list in a more generic fashion.

Regarding East Garfield: the closer you are to Western the better.  

@Brendan Markle I'm from the western part of the state but I stayed in downtown York for a weekend for an event, and as an outsider just visiting the area it seemed like it was on the up and up.

I am in a Mid-western community where the 1% rule is easy to find and therefore we are flooded with out-of-state investors. 

I have done my research on the subject but nothing compares to a good ole' fashion Q & A.
