If you do not need permits you could photograph the new window headers, flashing and insulation, shower waterproofing before tile and all the stuff an inspector would want to see for future buyers.

I don't, however, support paying for a person's housing, food, and more for their entire life-- unless they are a truly 100% disabled person unable to care for themselves in any way, and/or a very wounded veteran and/or truly terminally ill.
