I didn’t have luck with that but did a general search for my city and “group” or “meetup” and found a local group right here in my town.

You can start by going to www.narpm.org and search their directory of managers.

@Scott Schultz I plan to set up an e-mail that is something like (citypropertymgmt@email) and then set up a google voice number that is in the local area code so I don't have them think I am the owner.

A few things that may be helpful to you here on the Bigger Pockets website as you search for a team to support your first buy:You can set up keyword alerts so anytime someone posts about Huntsville or apartments / multi-families, you'll be notified.

@Lance Johnson I don't have any business in Akron but even quick search of MLS shows that there is couple duplexes listed in 44303: one for sale for $39,900 and 2bed/1bath is rented for $300 and $200.First of all, even with 4 rentals on your property - it's very low income, so it will be tough management.Another duplex updated for $69,900 doesn't even state the rent.

What I've begun doing is cross referencing the addresses from the Tax Assessor documents and using good old Google Maps to at least view the property.  

Most of them were removed but a few are still visible on Yelp and Google just for fun.
