How long did it took to build all? 

I lived in Sugar Land (until 2 weeks ago) and kept my old primary residence as a long term rental.

I'm particularly passionate about long term rentals. 

The guest responded that because she was so busy during her week long stay she didn’t have time to report these and, “… would be greatly inconvenienced with potential solutions while we were there.”They then told us that they usually gives 5-stars on reviews (based on their 3 reviews) and that she would be giving us 1-star and requesting a refund of $1,000.My wife and I decided it was best to stick to our original response that we would have addressed their concerns during their stay.

PaulBecause it also seems like an accessible entry point.How long should I stick it out to find property in a specific area, before moving on to the next?

And, sorry @Andrew Hogan, I have to disagree that 506(c) are higher quality than 506(b).  506(c) only became available in 2013, so there are many, many long time, proven operators that never made the transition to 506(c), simply because they didn't need to.

@Angela A. rentals are a long-term game, despite what everyone thinks.Why don't you look into rental rates and work backwards, to determine the max PITI payment those rental rates will support, and then calculate the max mortgage amount?

They have straightforward eviction processes, no limits on how high rent can go, and not many rules on money kept for damage or how long someone can rent.

Do you want to try to make some cash flow or secure an asset for the long term so that maybe you can get some friends to rent rooms from you?
