Contractors front the money for work, labor, and supply costs and expect a profit for the service and safety they ensure.That said, there are absolutely contractors out there that will take advantage of customers that do not understand what they want or how much it generally costs.

ok Mindy & Joe; i will have to go over the fine print cuz i didnt see nor was told it would automatically renew (i notice the premium CHANGED and WAS HIGHER ANYWAY) even though they sent a renewal offer which again was changed and increased even though i never in all my life have filed a claim with any of my tangible property insurances (auto, home, landlord, etc).

I was given a quote of $2,400 for labor cost and I supply the materials.I have attached pictures of how it looks currently and an idea of how I would like to transform it.This is my first post and Thank you for all your suggestions.
