It will probably be zoned “Residential”, butthe Railroad will not sale it without putting covenants on it, thatno human habitation (home, daycare, school, retirement home, etc) canbe built there.

I would move up north a bit, past Ross to McCandless and the North Allegheny school district.

For me, I am specifically looking for a property in an up-and-coming, well-kept neighborhood with middle and high schools, one or two established grocery stores, and a close-by walk-in clinic or pharmacy. 

There aren't any schools nearby.

My advice would be to start with residential and once you sharpen your skills you can graduate to commercial. 

I have been living at home since graduating from college with a plan to move out by house hacking.

I did this remodel right out of high school, purchasing the property with money i had saved up from flipping cars.

In high school, this is something that I always wanted to get into but thought I would never touch real estate after I graduate and get a tech job.
