While Kansas and Las Vegas had mixed success, Western New York experienced great success. 

After that year, you can move and purchase another property with an owner-occupied loan, as long as you intend to live in the new property as your primary residence.

I am aiming to have a portfolio of 2-3 long-term rentals within the Colorado market by 2026.

I am looking into purchasing my first condo in Destin, FL for short term vacation rentals.

So far I would say it has been a good investment but I don't really know how big I can scale it or how long it will take.At the same time, if there's a big investor looking for someone to help manage their portfolio in NYC or Long Island I would be open to jump on board so I can learn as well.

You're definitely on the right track and live in a great real estate market to be successful!  

This is fairly common within the industry and a way to reduce administrative costs considerably since you’re not repeatedly negotiating the base terms and conditions of the contract.

For example most single family homes converted to multi family tend to not preform well for long term rental but if you are open minded to MTR strategy that same property may produce well.
