@Bianca Nunes, I also live in NOVA and looked heavily into this option but after a year of due diligence and research ended up coming to the conclusion that multi-family syndications were a much better a return from a cashflow, equity and return on my own time.

So you want to focus pretty heavily on generating investment capital.So I would focus very heavily on what you can do between 16 and 18 to both amass capital for your first purchase, but also focus on what you can do to ramp up your earnings capability fast.For example, a 5 year plan to get a Bachelors/Masters will generate more income, but won't start until year 6 and will probably have a cross-over point in year 8 or 9.
