@John Vesky Your post assumes if someone has reduced hours, they do not qualify for unemployment; this is false.Furthermore, if hours are reduced, not only is unemployment compensation awarded, but an additional $600/week (= $2600/month with 4.33 weeks in a month) is also awarded above normal compensation, so reducing an employee's hours give most MORE income than they previously earned by working.
