Well, not only do you now shoulder all the responsibilities of a genuine landlord, you are now also exposed to all of the potentially crippling liabilities of a genuine landlord.In addition to the other excellent suggestions already posted add these: do not break the law; network with other local RE professionals for advice; and consult immediately with your insurance advisor about ways to protect yourself from financial disaster.Good luck and keep us posted.

Stuff still needs to be done, so the remaining owners who do pay are having to shoulder more of the burden.I suggest that you look at row houses out of a HOA, or a small cottage and pay for your own gardener.Personally, I would not buy a condo for a rental that I planned to retire in.
